This deck is designed to be run on defensive maps where nothing but close range engagement can be expected.

  • CRB-27B - Short Range:
This deck utilizes the crab strategy that we use in quickplay as a fast way to get a significant tonnage advantage on top of the default tonnage advantage the Inner Sphere is given. All 12 individuals should run the crab either first or second wave and just like in quick play only legs will be targeted. This ensures that any mech that is not completely killed will still be significantly combat ineffective. Most organized groups tend to drop heavy tonnage first and second so expect them when playing against organized groups.
  • WHM-7S - Short Range:
This is the standard bearer for IS MRM mechs. This mech packs a massive alpha and when run in mass with other MRM, brawler style mechs can dish out enormous amounts of damage. While relatively sturdy this mech is not invincible. This mech is best used in an alpha and hide capacity for maximum punch.
  • BLR-2C - Short Range:
This MRM Medium laser Battlemaster is designed to lead pushes on fortified enemy locations. Its additional structure quirks give it significant durability during push style advances. This mech can soak damage as well as deal it. Make sure that if you are piloting this mech you lead any push style maneuver so as to allow your more fragile teammates to survive longer and therefore make your team more combat effective.
  • QKD-4H (Brawler - 1):
This 60 ton mech fits in quite nice with an MRM brawl style deck. This mech also packs quite a bit of firepower for its tonnage sporting a 70 point alpha. Much like the warhammer this mech is best used in a peak and alpha style capacity but also has great functionality for defeating enemy advancements due to its sheer firepower.
